About Beth
Beth High has spent much of her life around horses and the people who love them. That experience shapes the Lauren Calder Mysteries, where the details of the horse world matter just as much as the clues.
A lifelong horsewoman, Beth lives with her family on a small ranch in Tucson, AZ where eight horses enjoy irrigated pasture. Beth manages the day-to-day care herself. Currently, she is training her Iberian mares, half-sisters Rafaela and Quelinda, for Working Equitation. That firsthand experience gives Beth an insider’s eye for the barns, riders, routines, relationships, and occasional chaos that find their way into her fiction. In the Frame is Beth’s first novel and the first book in the Lauren Calder Mysteries.
